# ★ HyperScore

HyperScore is your decentralized social currency. It quantifies your expertise and influence within the community, which will allow you to turn them into financial opportunities.

HyperScore democratizes influence by transparently rewarding efforts through community consensus. Anyone can nominate someone from the community, endorse them, and vote for others' endorsements to contribute to the HyperScore of the nominee. Each wallet can contribute to the HS of a nominee only once, by endorsing or voting. \
\
**The preliminary formula for HyperScore★ is as follows:**

`HS(HyperScore) = √HYPE + (√sHYPE × 1.5)`\
\
The preliminary formula for calculating HyperScore is based on the financial commitment (HYPE) of endorsers and voters for each nominee. We calculate the square root of HYPE and staked HYPE holdings from unique contributors to your nomination. This square root calculation helps prevent whale domination.

The final formula will be determined through community consensus. Additional factors, such as contributions to the DAO and integration with [@hlnames](https://x.com/hlnames), will create a more comprehensive approach that considers multiple variables and safeguards to prevent score manipulation.

Within 2 weeks of launching, more than $25M in HYPE is already backing the reputation scores.\
